These Chevron Arrows are supper cute and can add to a rustic design or make a modern area feel a little more lived in and homey. Thanks Amanda for the pic of your arrows!
So here is your tutorial.
Supply list for one arrow:
1 1x4 that is 5 ft long
6 1 1/2 in wood screws.
first start by marking the end of your 1x4 with a 45 degree angle.
Measure over 11 inches from the bottom side of the angle and mark another 45 degree angle.
Cut out 4 of these and lay them out like this.
Pre mark them for where you will be placing your pocket holes.
Place a pocket hole in the general area of your mark. Then screw the pieces together using the pocket holes. If you don't have a pocket hole jig then keep reading there is a solution.
Completed arrow! Now stain and hang them. I use my pocket hole jig to create a way to hang it my daughter just gets the nail gun out and nails it to the wall.
Don't have a jig? here is the solution. The writer of Cherished Bliss came up with this fix for those that do not have a pocket hole jig. See her tutorial here
